Florida: no personal income tax return to file
CCG is based in Naples and Ft. Myers, and most of our individual clients are Florida residents — which means there is no Florida personal income tax return to file in the first place. Florida does still require certain filings for businesses, such as sales tax and corporate income tax, which are handled through the Florida Department of Revenue.
You can find Florida business tax forms, sales tax filing resources, and account information directly at floridarevenue.com.
Filing in another state?
If you moved from another state, work remotely for an out-of-state employer, or own property or a business outside Florida, you may still owe a return elsewhere. Every state Department of Revenue (or equivalent tax agency) publishes its own current-year forms directly on its website — that's always the safest source for an official, up-to-date form, rather than a third-party forms library.
If you're not sure whether you have a filing obligation in another state, that's a conversation worth having with us before assuming either way.
